Fire Rated Partition System
The main function of fire rated partition is to block the spread of fire from the initial area to other areas in case of fire, so as to minimize the loss of human life and property.
Compared with traditional brick or concrete walls, Red moat ® calcium silicate board fire rated partition system has the advantages of light weight, flexible design and fast and convenient installation. Especially for ultra-high walls, the light weighted Red moat ® calcium silicate board fire rated partition system reduces the need of additional load-bearing capacity of the main structure of the building like the brick or concrete wall does. Thus, reduces the overall cost of the project and makes the advantages more obvious.
Red moat ® calcium silicate board partition system provides 1-4 hours of fire resistance in accordance with BS 467-22 standard, which can provides optimum solutions for different projects.  Smoke Barrier System
Modern buildings often need to install independent smoke barrier which purpose is to slow down the spread of smoke from one area to other areas in case of fire, so that personnel can quickly and safely evacuate the fire site.
The smoke barrier is generally installed on the slab or ceiling, and the height is not less than 450mm. According to the building regulations, the smoke barrier shall be made of non combustible materials and shall have a fire resistance of at least 30 minutes.
Red moat ® calcium silicate board and glass smoke barrier system can provide 30 minutes to 4 hours of fire resistance. The systems have flexible design, convenient installation and fine decoration. It can be used in shopping malls, office buildings, hotels, hospitals, schools, factories and other building lobbies, atriums or corridors. Acoustic Decorative Wall System
